We need citizen reporters 18-25 to join our change makers project

We are looking for ten young people in Belfast area to join our Change Makers project and share your voice on the issues that matter to you.

Change Makers is a citizen reporting programme for young disabled people aged 16-25 and empowers young people who join our course with the opportunity to create campaigns and make change in the local community.

During your six months on the Change Makers programme, you will learn new skills and have a loud voice as you:

  • Becoming a citizen reporter
  • Create a local campaign for change
  • Highlight important issues
  • Tell people about the things that affect you in your local community
  • Get your voice heard

During the six-month project Change Makers will get the opportunity to attend weekly digital sessions with a group of participants from your areas, as well as taking part in independent tasks outside of sessions. The first session will be one 7th June 5pm.
